Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is set in a beautiful location in a courtyard, but the room designed for disabled guests was not ideal for us. The shower head holder was broken, making it challenging to adjust the shower head. However, the room was clean and the surroundings were peaceful and serene.
I had a wonderful time at the lodge! The rooms were in noticeably better condition, had all the facilities you need, and plenty of space for a family of 4. The only downside was that they looked a little tired, but we had a room with a balcony, which was great. The service was a bit of a mixed bag; some staff members were very friendly and helpful, while others seemed unprofessional. The location was absolutely brilliant, offering a lovely short break for my family of 2 adults and 2 children in one beautiful location with excellent facilities all within walking distance. The dining experience varied; we enjoyed the Cafe Aberfeldy, but there were some issues with breakfast availability. The facilities were good, but I felt there could have been more attention to detail in some areas, like the carpet needing replacing. Overall, it was a lovely stay!
I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a 2 bedroom property, although the cleanliness level was not up to par. The location was perfect for exploring Kenmore/Aberfeldy, with beautiful grounds on the loch and great leisure facilities. The service, while polite, felt impersonal and could be more informed. The dining options were limited, and the breakfast was not included in our package.
